Daisy and MinnieStranraer & District

Sisters in need of a home together.
We are appealing for a new home for Daisy and Minnie as their owner 's situation has changed recently and they are unable to accommodate the cats for the near future.

They came into our care 18 months ago. It is always sad to get a foster cat back for re homing, but people's situations change through no fault of their own and we now find ourselves looking to find these 2 lovely girls their permanent life long home together.

Daisy and Minnie are both lovely friendly affectionate girls. They have never experienced children and have always lived in quiet households, so we would be hoping to find them a similar situation. They do not like dogs from what their present owner says.
They have been kept as house cats all their lives, but at the tender age of 2, it would be nice to find them a home where they can eventually experience the joys of the great outdoors. If they did find a home where they were let outside, it would need to be a home with a safe enclosed garden well away from busy roads.
Keeping a cat as a house cat takes a deal of commitment from the owner. Activity and scratch facilities need to be provided with consideration as to how you will prevent them from escaping from the house, especially during summer months with open windows etc.. Obvioulsy lots of play and lots of cuddles and time is needed for any house cat:)
Our essential guide "Indoor and outdoor cat" provides some useful tiips fro would be owners. Link: http://www.cats.org.uk/uploads/documents/cat-care-leaflets-2013/EG12_Indoor_and_outdoor_cats.pdf
